Grace of Being Massage Therapy

This type of massage involves the use and placement of basalt stones on different points of the body. The stones are water heated before use and the massage therapist can then apply deeper pressure to areas of concern without causing any discomfort.
A hot stone massage may begin with a traditional Swedish massage technique to prepare your muscles. Your therapist will then place the warm stones on key acupressure points on your body. Some therapists may place the stones in their hands, using the warm stones to massage the tissues and free up tensions in the body. 

Hot Stone Massage

Relaxation massage is a smooth, gentle, flowing style that promotes general relaxation, relieves muscular tension, and improves circulation and movement range. Your therapist will aim to relax, revive and rejuvenate you at a massage depth that creates comfort.

Relaxation Massage Therapy

This combo session uses the wisdom of relaxation massage in combination with effective therapeutic massage techniques to support good posture, injury recovery or prevention, joint mobility, and healthy muscle tone. Not all therapeutic work is deep, and sometimes we need a gentle intervention to be most effective. 
This session is a good fit for those with recent or acute injuries, anxiety/PTSD, or those with sensitive nervous systems who need a lighter touch. 

Relaxation/Therapeutic Massage

Prenatal massages are more gentle than other types of massages, but they still offer many benefits. Prenatal massages are tailored to the needs of the pregnant person and their changing body, and therapists trained in prenatal massage adjust their techniques accordingly. 
Postpartum massages relax muscles, increase circulation, and lower stress hormones, bringing both physical and emotional relief. Some people prefer a light-touch massage, while others opt for a deeper massage that reaches further into the muscles and soft tissues of the body for more complete healing.

Prenatal/Postnatal Massage Therapy

Myofascial cupping is a soft tissue therapy that involves the application of decompressed cups on the skin, creating a vacuum effect that lifts up tissues such as the fascia (connective tissue) and muscles, blood and other fluid, close to the surface of the skin. Cupping rapidly loosens the fascia and muscles, stimulating blood flow to the area, and quickly reducing pain. 
Practitioners may use plastic, silicone or glass cups to create suction that releases the connective tissue that may be restricting movement, or causing discomfort. 
Cupping is performed within the context of a therapeutic massage, so practitioners will use the cupping alongside therapeutic massage techniques.
