Combo Massage and Myofascial Cupping
Description
Myofascial cupping is a soft tissue therapy that involves the application of decompressed cups on the skin, creating a vacuum effect that lifts up tissues such as the fascia (connective tissue) and muscles, blood and other fluid, close to the surface of the skin. Cupping rapidly loosens the fascia and muscles, stimulating blood flow to the area, and quickly reducing pain. Practitioners may use plastic, silicone or glass cups to create suction that releases the connective tissue that may be restricting movement, or causing discomfort. Cupping is performed within the context of a therapeutic massage, so practitioners will use the cupping alongside therapeutic massage techniques. *Make sure you have filled out your cupping consent form before coming to your session.
